MASTER NLP THERAPIST
One to One Mentoring Programme
With John Plester and Joy Gower
This programme is designed to mentor therapists who want to develop their skills in hypnosis and NLP to mastery level.
Uniquely, this programme integrates one to one supervision with continuing professional development to gain a Master NLP Practitioner licence from the Society of NLP and a Master NLP Therapist Certificate from the East Anglian Institute of NLP and Hypnosis.
This is an opportunity to develop and learn directly with John Plester and Joy Gower at your own pace and tailored to your own needs. In martial arts, training with a Master is the route to mastery, as the one to one training provides the ultimate in feedback which is often referred to as the 'breakfast of champions'. This programme enables you to work with two Masters who are successful as therapists and trainers but who also work in their own unique styles.
This programme also gives you access to the public training seminars in NLP and Hypnotherapy that John and Joy run every year. You can attend these as an assistant throughout the programme. If you have trained initially with other training schools this will enable you to consolidate your basic skills and take your training to a higher level. Assisting is a key to mastery as you consolidate your learning when you run through it again, you will be surprised how much you thought you knew the first time round only to get it in a different way the second time round. In addition when you have to explain ideas and concepts to new students this consolidates your own learning and makes you even more confident. John assisted Paul McKenna and Richard Bandler for over 5 years doing NLP Practitioners, Master Practitioners and Trainer Training’s many times over and learned something new every time he assisted.
This programme also enables you to access the therapy and training facilities at the East Anglian Institute of NLP and Hypnosis to see clients or run Practice groups. This is subject to prevailing rates and availability. This is more than just another course, this is a mentoring programme where you work closely with John and Joy in developing your business.

- Firstly, the course combines weekend seminar training with one to one training to gain the best of both worlds. The seminar weekends enable you to practice and assist with a variety of people to consolidate your learning. The one to one modules ensure you get specific feedback to YOU. In these modules you actually do the work with the trainer - this ensures quality feedback, assessment and development.
- As a therapist you can gain professional supervision as you learn for no extra cost. The one to one modules allow you to discuss your own case studies as part of your ongoing development.
- Gain Master NLP Practitioner certification with the Society of NLP, the largest NLP quality assurance organisation in the world and as a measure of the pedigree of your training your certificate is personally signed by the creator of NLP Dr Richard Bandler himself.
- Gain access to a library of resources to complement your learning between modules. DVDs, videos, tapes, CDs and books of some of the top creators and innovators can be borrowed to study in your own time. The self study element is tailored to your own development.
- Finally, the training is flexible to suit you. The one to one modules can be taken when you want at your own pace. You can start the one to one modules when you want and you can do the modules as intensively as you want. The only condition is that you commit to at least one module per month in order to maintain momentum. Real flexibility in training to suit you as a learner!
This programme is tailored to take you to mastery level at your pace and in your time whatever level you are at. The programme is designed into two hour one to one modules with home study provided between each module. Assessment and Project Presentation
The modules are only a guide, we will discuss at interview stage the precise format to meets your specific needs.
A guide to how each module is structured is: 30-40 minutes supervision/ feedback/ homework presentation followed by 80-90 minutes tuition.
A project will be presented at the assessment which will demonstrate your mastery of NLP in a creative and innovative way. Throughout the programme you will be required to do case studies, assignments and presentations to demonstrate competency and understanding of the key learning outcomes. This course is designed to be practical rather than academic – the aim is for you to be professionally competent as opposed to being academically knowledgeable.
This programme is designed for therapists who are committed to being the best at what they do. The programme is holistic and flexible in that it will complement existing skill sets and styles of therapeutic intervention. Therefore it is suitable for psychotherapists, counsellors, coaches and hypnotherapists who work privately or within the public sector. A NLP Practitioner certification is a prerequisite to being accepted on this programme. Furthermore, acceptance on this programme is subject to an interview direct with John and Joy.
