Christine Hooker

Christine Hooker

BA (Hons), Cert. Ed., Cert.CSCT., Adv Dip Hyp., Dip. PICT, LNCP

Teacher Trainer Therapist

Christine trained as a teacher in 1970. Since then her teaching career has involved working in Primary, Secondary and Special Schools and as an Advisory Teacher for Learning Support for a Local Authority. In each of these settings a common factor for Christine has been caring for the emotional well-being of her charges. This may relate to contexts within the school, the family, with peers or wider social networks. Her full-time job now entails advising schools on how best to support pupils with learning and behavioural challenges in their lives. This may take the form of staff training, consultations and involvement in school improvement initiatives.

Whilst working in a secondary school in Essex, as well as teaching for nine years, Christine assumed pastoral responsibilities for a group of youngsters aged 11-19 years. In this 'House' system senior staff could nurture, mentor and support students during their entire school careers. It was at this time that Christine undertook her first Counselling Certificate course with CSCT in Chelmsford. From this there developed an on-going professional interest in learning ways of further understanding, engaging with and positively motivating change in people, who, for whatever reasons find it difficult to feel emotionally well, confident and able to participate in life's 'rich tapestry'.

Eric Robbie

Eric Robbie

Master NLP Trainer
Patron and Guest Tutor

Eric Robbie lived, travelled, taught for, and laughed with Richard Bandler for four years, co-teaching with him in seminars and on major training programs, all over the world. Prior to that, Eric had founded only the second-ever Practitioner-level NLP training program in Britain, and was a major force in establishing NLP in the UK.

Before Richard asked Eric to go out "on the road" with him, Eric had discovered and taught Sub-Modality Eye Accessing Cues, Meta-Program Accessing Cues, and a wealth of other non-verbal material, and he has made major contributions to the language side of NLP.

Richard once said that, "Eric is one of the three best trainers in the world."
